Epley's Maneuver
- The Epley maneuver is also referred to as the "Canalith Repositioning Maneuver"
- Used to treat canalolisthiasis, primarily in the posterior canal
- Begins with patient having their head turned 45 degrees towards the affected side and extended about 20 degrees
- The patient is laid on their back with their neck in this position
- The head is rotated to the other side maintaining the neck extension
- The patient turns their body to the side they are facing and the neck angles are maintained
- The patient then sits up while maintaining their head turned and at neutral extension
- All positions are held for 30 seconds
- Many times, one treatment is enough, if not, more can be warranted
